A team of three Jr. UX Designers (me and 2 others) were brought on board to the project. We were given creative freedom to design the website based on a completed site map. My team was tasked to deliver wireframes, a styling guide, and a prototype that needed to be annotated for developer hand-off.

Website (In-Progress)
A group dedicated learning and growing with Google's products and platforms.
I worked with internal stakeholders such as group leads, project heads, and other developers.
The problem? They did not have the time and resources to build a website from the ground up. Me and 2 other Jr. UX Designers volunteered to help GDG Vancouver.
The Context? GDG Vancouver wants to grow their community. They also don't have a website to market their events and introduce their new mentorship program.
As juniors, our group aimed for rapid iterations, loosely following the Lean and Agile UX process. We collaborated closely with developers and a UX project manager to identify unforeseen issues.
The focus on constant collaboration allowed our group increase our skillset.
My team of Jr. UX Designers also helped each other through the process, sharing our current knowledge to help each other grow.

Information Architecture
Our current task involves developing the following internal use deliverables:
Wireframes
Styling Guide
Prototype ( Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile. )
Ideation and Wireframe
Our group began the process by gathering inspiration to create pages based on the site map we were given. We put our ideas into wireframes and reviewed each other's designs to identify possible UX issues.
Once our wireframes were reviewed, we moved into the next phase.
Our current phase involves constant communication with our internal stakeholders while designing the website from the ground up. We are working with developers to ensure that our prototype is able to be realistically created.
I was given the responsibility of designing the hi-fi prototype of the Event Details and Mentorship page.
We planned for the next phase to involve Usability Studies to gather feedback on the website. Throughout this process, our group will plan to synthesize the data gathered and revise our designs. Our group will work with the developers and project heads during revisions.
When revisions are complete, we plan to work with our developers and project heads to make the handoff process easy. From here, we will work with developers to fix unforeseen issues until the final product.
