Assignment Background

Prior to this assignment we conducted User Interviews. This lecture involved taking the raw data and transferring them into key insights. We learned how to detect and discard unnecessary data to ensure our analysis was short and concise. Our class also explored how to look for patterns in our data to support our findings and solution drafting.

Assignment Task

My task was to take the data from my user interviews and condense it into an analysis report that required:

• Anonymized Participants list

• Key Insights

• Supporting Findings

• Recommendations to act from

What was a difficult challenge you faced during the assignment?

Feedback and Learnings

Use clear and concise language

I thought I did good with my report; however I received feedback that some of my terms required knowledge of the industry or vague such as "poor" or "low". This could be an issue during my career and I want to continue to improve on my wording.

Translating insights into actionable steps

I provided recommendations that tried to encompass all my insights. But, I also received feedback that it would be a bit better if I translated each insight into it's own recommendation in addition to my insights to help narrow down solutions.
